Inspiring Corporations - Homestudy Programs that serve your Human Capital

Leading from the Tao
Exploring leadership principles using Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s bestseller Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao. The 81 verses of the Tao te Ching are the inspiration for Wayne Dyer’s essays on our connection to Source, and how we can express that connection in our daily intentions. This program truly changes the way we live our lives and how we relate to those around us. Larry Watson distills verses into weekly themes of Releasing Judgment, Simplify, etc., that allow us to apply these principles in a daily practice.

Finding Freedom
Steve Sherwood’s book Finding Freedom: The Five Choices That Will Change Your Life guides us on a journey into our “ways of being” that may no longer serve us so that we can recognize our strengths, and use them as powerful resources for accessing the greatness within. Through acceptance of our perceived flaws, we can find a new way of being that connects us to our hidden powers and talents. Bringing those strengths into our immediate environment releases our attachment to negative behaviors that were useful in the past. A new paradigm is embraced.

The I of the Storm
This rich and enlightening book by Gary Simmons creates a new understanding about conflict that will provide a sense of peace and harmony in the midst of chaos. With this understanding, we can create a new world in each day where we are not tossed about by our own reactions or history.

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose
Using Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, you will explore how your ways of thinking were unconscious, and how to become empowered and conscious
in the beauty of is-ness. Hang on; this is just the beginning of
new words and ideas that will expand your joy. In A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle writes with amazing clarity about how our identity
is formed and how to release that identity to find freedom in this moment.

Results
- Integrated Education: The most powerful aspect of Inspiring Connection Homestudy programs is the wisdom and personal contributions of each participant. The result is deep and permanent integration of the material that is covered, and a supportive environment to apply the spiritual principles and practices in each person’s life.

- Personal Connection - Team Building: The 7-week structure results in a deep level of sharing and support based on the common purpose of the chosen material and personal advancement. Within the small group of 6-8 people, a sincere connection is fostered, giving each member a sense of belonging, and a new family of friends that makes them feel they bond and belong within your coprorate community. Sometimes these groups continue to meet for months and years after the conclusion of our program.

- Corporate Culture: As the constructive information becomes integrated by each participant, a mutual understanding becomes a part of the corporate culture. It’s an effective way to get everyone on the same page and actually engaged in collaborative efforts. They care about each other and the company. One horse can pull 2000 pounds, but two horses working together can pull 21,000 pounds. Tap into the efficiency and effectiveness of your human capital and its passion. Personal actualization is the highest incentive for employee retention.

The Process
- Bookstudy History: Homestudy programs have been a part of community life for decades, and is based on the 19th century Salons where small groups would gather to discuss topics or books and draw on the greater wisdom of the collective mind. Some of the most innovative art movements and churches actually were founded out of these small groups. Larry Watson has researched and developed effective programs for you and your company that tap into the unlimited potential of the small scale community. This results in a culture shift within your larger community, and a renewed commitment to your company.

- Book Series: Your Inspiring Connection series revolves around an educational and/or inspirational book that supports the organization’s environment and goals. Each Inspiring Connection program presents the books in seven segments that are used by your small groups in weekly meetings. In church groups, it is called Homestudy because each small group meets in a member’s home. In corporations, a schedule that takes place at the company can streamline the process and avoid the conflict of personal schedules.

- Bookstudy Structure: Each series is designed as a self-directed program, with complete materials provided by Inspiring Connection to guide discussion and agendas. The agenda provides: information supplemental to the chosen book; affirmation cards; discussion questions; and practices for integrating the program through the week. There is no teaching guide since the moderator is not an instructor, and is only providing a safe space for respectful discussion and guidance for the group to remain on subject.
Bookstudy Development in Your Community
- Small Groups: The small groups are comprised of 6 to 8 participants, one of whom is a moderator. Each participant will sign up for a particular study group based on choice of location and day/time. All materials for scheduling the various phases is provided by Inspiring Connection, as well as the administrative forms for registering participants.

- Hosts and Moderators: The moderators are trained in-house by a qualified trainer utilizing the Moderator Training Manual provided by Inspiring Connection. A moderator’s role is not to teach a class, but to hold a safe space for the participants to discuss and contribute to the group. The moderator also moves the group through the materials as necessary. Except for the above purposes, the moderator is an active participant.

- Corporate Commitment: The common purpose of personal growth that creates a bond in the small group expands the feeling of belonging and personal investment in the company, increasing collaboration, individual involvement, and commitment.
